I started my educational career twelve years ago in Windsor as a fifth
grade teacher at Brooks Elementary. After being encouraged to become an
administrator, I became a principal for an elementary school in
Fairfield, California. Although I enjoyed my work in Fairfield, my heart
and home remained steadfast in Sonoma County.
In 2004, I returned to the Windsor Unified School District as an
Assistant Principal at Windsor High School and Principal for Windsor
Oaks Academy. For the past three years I have served as the Director of
Alternative Education developing programs to benefit learners of all
ages -- from infants to adults. I'm excited about my return to
Windsor High School and reconnecting with the staff, students, and
parents that have made my contributions to developing innovative
programs possible.
I look forward to helping develop and expand the unique program
opportunities that have made Windsor High School the high achieving and
recognized school that it is. When not at school, I can be found
enjoying
life at home with my son(Sean) and wife (Diane) -- who also serves
Windsor students as a speech therapist at Cali Calmecac Language
Academy.

Grades 9 & 11
I have been in the field of education for 18 years. I hold secondary credentials in English, art, social studies and chemistry. My master's degree in Education from Sonoma State University is in Curriculum and Instruction. Before coming to Windsor Unified, I taught in Santa Rosa City Schools where I started the successful ArtQuest program at Santa Rosa High School. In 1999 I joined the Windsor High School staff where I taught English in the Digital Communications Core for five years. This is my third year in administration. I believe that Windsor Unified School District has a vision which is forward thinking, progressive and inspirational. I truly believe that we offer the best secondary education for students in Sonoma County. My mission as an administrator is to serve students, parents, teachers and community stakeholders. Together we can create a school district that is student-centered and visionary. I invite all members of the community to help us realize this vision for students.

Grades 10 & 12
I am pleased to join the Windsor High School community as one of the school’s administrators. I share the educational goals of this community and am committed to supporting the success of every student in our school.
For myself, I started working in education in 1992. I have taught Spanish, ELD, and Algebra Support at both the middle school and high school levels, including an IB program. I earned two bachelors degrees – one in Science from the Universidad Autonoma de BCN and one in Humanities with an emphasis in Multi-Cultural Literature from Dominican University. My teaching credential is from Dominican University and my administrative credential and MA in Educational Administration are from USF.
As the new person in town, I look forward to meeting all of you. In addition to supporting our WHS community, I love talking about great food, travel, foreign languages, sports, motorcycles, and soccer.
Go Jaguars!
