On November 13th, our freshman jaguars beat the Cardinal Newman freshman team in an upset victory. In the first drive for the jaguars, quarterback Christian Mcalvain was tackled in the backfield and fumbled, which resulted in a Newman recovery. That next drive, Newman would go on to score and take the lead 7-0. Though the jaguars wouldn’t be outdone they went on to put on a great drive by QB Christian Mcalvain, Taylor Bioggi scored the touchdown. The bad thing is that the Point after touchdown was blocked, making the score 7-6. It was a back and forth game in the first half; going into halftime the score was 14-13 with Cardinal Newman leading.

In the second half the Jaguars were pumped up and ready to take the lead and for the win. After a score by Kameron Richardson, Christian Mcalvain missed Pat the score was tied. The game had action with each team trying to up the other. The Jaguars started getting pumped in the end of the third and in the starting of the fourth quarter. The Jaguars adrenaline was making the crowd pumped, they were screaming their heads off keeping the Jags energy up.

In the closing of the game Christian Mcalvain through two key passes one to Taylor Bioggi and Kameron Richardson with those two passes it capped off a Windsor touchdown. On the last drive for Cardinal they scored a touchdown making the score 25-26. Newman went for the two-point conversion; Jason Foell tackling the QB at the one-yard line for the win stopping them. The game was fun and exciting and close to the end, it was a terrific way to end the season.
