Although the Cross-Country team is small, it doesn't lack ability. At the recent meet (race) at Riverfront Park against Petaluma and El Molino, the varsity girls placed in first, starring Leslie Pfeiffer who came in second, while the rest of the team came in fairly close behind.

Coach, Zenia Horning, says the team is expecting to be succesful because if you go into something expecting to fail, you most undoubtedly will. Cross-country is a demanding sport wherein the competitor must use their physical muscle and mental concentration to progress through the course. The meets sre held in parks like Foothill and Riverfront and are usually three miles long. The real challenge is runing all the way around the path whithout stopping or slowing down.

The varsity boy's team proudly holds Kyle Ibrahim, Mark "Blue" Henry, Cod Howe, Marty Murphy, Jose Rosas, and Oscar Barragan. The JV Boys consist of Kai Porter, Jacob Ruonavaara, Jacob McKamey, and Alex Bland. Laura Rogina, Alex Banuet, Leslie Pfeiffer, Darlene McArthur, and Kasie O'mara build up the varsity girl's team. Last but not least, the JV girls are Angel Klemencic, Leslie Cuneo, Jaime Iberhim, and Amy Arend.
