After going undefeated throughout the Olympics, the redeem team proved themselves to the world. Team U.S.A defeated Spain 118 to 107. Spain was widely considered to be one of the very few teams to have a chance at beating Team USA, and they came the closest. Dwayne Wade led the game with 27 points, and he seemed to lead Team USA throughout their domination in the Olympics.
The closest spain ever got to containing the lead in the second half was at 8:13, the score was 89-91. After this USA made serious bank (money), and showed no signs of slowing up. After the embarrassment in Athens, It feels good to be number one again. |
