The Varsity Softball Team recently won the Ukiah Tournamnet, after 3 games.. After beating St. Vincent and Clear Lake, the girls played Ukiah for the champtionship, and it was a hard fought battle. "They were in a tougher league, and we barely squeaked by, 3-2," said a Windsor spectator.
The boys Varsity tennis team plays today agaisnt Analy, at Analy. Come watch them play! The first match begins at 3:35. |

Boys Varsity Basketball: The boy's playoff run ended in a hard fought deffeat against Hayward last Wednesday, with the final score coming out to 51-59. The boys ended their overall seaon at 20-8, becoming the SCL champions and making all the way to the NCS quarter finals. Great job, guys!
Varsity Tennis: The boys vartity tennis team has a match today vs. El Molino at home, at the Hiram Lewis tennis courts, located behind the Windsor Middle School. The match begins at 3:30. Come watch them play! |

BASKETBALL
BOYS
Last Week, the boys Vartisy team deffeated Healdsburg in a 35 to 58 rout. Last Tuesday, they deffeated Sonoma with a final score of 63 to 20. They play against Petaluma this Thursday, at Petaluma.
JV: Last week against Healdsburg, the boys won by two points, once again deffeating Heladsburg., this time 45-47 They will also take on Petaluma this Friday. Freshmen begin at 4:30, leading to JV at 6:00 and ending with the Vartisy at 7:30.
GIRLS
As for the Lady Jags, they lost to Healdsburg after a tough battle. The final came out to 43 to 37.
The JV team was able to hold out for a 45 to 34 win last week.
The girls team will play again this week on Friday, against Petaluma at home. Freshmen begin at 4:30, JV at 6:00 and Varsity at 7:30.
WRESTLING
On February 6 last week, the Windsor wrestling team tied El Molino, 33 to 33, but were ruled in second when they compared number of pins. The team will enter the SCL Championship playoffs this weekend in Petaluma, with the first match beginning at 10am. |

Basketball
Boys Varsity: After becoming SCL League champions and ending their season at 11-1, the boys varsity team deffeated Concord on Tuesday in a first round playoff game 55-49. They move on to the second round today, with a game against Marilla Carillo, at Carillo, starting at 6:30. Get their early and come support the Jags!
Girls Varsity: The girls ended a good season at 6-6, but unfortunately did not make it to the playoffs. Come support them when they return next year for another great season. Good job, Ladies!
Wrestling
Last weekend, the Jaguar Wrestling team went to the SCL tournament playoffs. After a hard fought battle, the team ended overall in fourth place. Way to go, guys! |

Basketball Overview
Girls Varsity: Coached by Joe Passalacqua, the varsity girls are coming out strong this year, with a recent 45-25 win over Rancho Cotati. Charlene Popoff lead the scoreboard, with 19 points. Windsor will play in the Reno Classic tournament starting on December 5.
Girls JV: With coach Jay Joseph, the JV is returning with talent, and although losing some players to Varsity, will still remain a threat to the rest of the league.
Girls Freshman: The freshman girls have recently added to their roster from last year, with more players coming in. They hope to bring some winning changes to the freshman team.
Boys JV: This year the JV boys are looking for a strong debut this year, and will play their next game at the end of this week.
Boys freshman: The boys freshman team is looking very talented this year, with strong upcoming players. The team is looking to get a winning record. |

Varsity Football: The Varsity team one their final league game against Sonoma Valley last Friday. The final score came down to 25-13, with Joe Ramos setting the Windsor rushing record for a single game. (263 yards on 30 carries)
JV Football: The JV team finished their season undeffeated, also beating Sonoma Valley.
Girls Soccer: The Varstiy girls finished a good season after losing to Motgomery on Saturday, November 3, during the quarter finals of the playoffs.
Boys Soccer: The boys also wrapped up their season in the quarter finals, after losing to Marin Catholic.

On Halloween evening, the Jaguar boys' soccer team sent a permanent scare into the orange and black of Santa Rosa High School with a 1-0 first round North Coast Section playoff win over the Panthers. In the seventh minute of the contest Emme Camargo booted home from inside the box the game's sole goal off an assist from David Mendez. Senior Jose Angel says that defense won the game, highlighting goalie Chris Hernandez' 17 saves during the low scoring contest, "Morale is high, and we're playing as a team. If we communicate, that is going to do it for us."
The Jags play their next NCS playoff game at Marin Catholic this Saturday, November 3 at 3:00 p.m.
Girls Varsity Soccer:
While the boys were out at Santa Rosa High, the Lady Jags were having a triumph of their own, traveling all the way up to McKennleyville to defeat Arcadia, 2-0.
Their next game is also on Saturday , November 3, at 7:00 p.m., against Montgomery, at Montgomery. |
