Welcome back! The 2010-2011 school year is under way. I look forward to seeing familiar and new faces and working with my new students, parents/guardians. This year, I am excited and proud to be working with Joe Stadum (English), Scott Ames and Alex Saslow (Science) in the Stellar Core.
    This year I have many exciting plans for my Global Studies students. Over the course of the year, we will be focusing on world cultures by investigating (1) geographic and environmental issues, 2) human rights issues, 3) global economic issues, and 4) historic events.  This class will prepare students to think about people, events and issues from the past, and make them relevant and applicable to our present and future. 
    Students will be focusing on and practicing: respect, diversity, initiative, hard work and cooperation. With field trips, core projects, group projects, lively discussions, and a collaborative environment, I know that this year will be a success.
