Attention: WHS Students and Parents
We are excited to offer students an additional day of in-person instruction, beginning Monday, May 3rd. This serves as another step towards re-opening next fall with in-person instruction. If you choose to remain on distance learning, that option will continue to be available. Please read this with your WHS student, as soon as possible. May 3rd Class/Bell Schedule, is as follows, please note all students A-Z will be attending in person instruction on both Core days.
New Bell Schedule for Classes, and More Information on Hybrid Schedule
All students will attend for in person instruction for two consecutive Core days, per week. All other classes will remain online, via Google Classroom, whenever a student is not attending in person instruction, on campus classes.
New Class/Bell Schedule as of May 3, 2021! Note all students A-Z attend both Core days.
Student arrival time remains at 7:45 AM, masks are required.
How do I know if I should be on-campus to attend classes? You are welcome to attend both days for in-person instruction, on the day you have Core. Otherwise, all your classes will remain on Zoom/Distance Learning, from home.
What if I have an additional class period during my Core day? If you have one other class, in addition to Core, on your Core Day, you may attend that class in-person. However, you will NOT be coming to campus for any classes on your Non-Core day.
Face Masks at All Times, and other safety precautions
All students and staff must continue to wear masks at all times, and students are to remain a distance of 3ft from others, throughout the day, both inside and outside of classrooms. Face covering means a tightly woven fabric or non-woven material with no visible holes or openings which covers nose and mouth. (WHS Covid Protocols section 3 Mask Guidelines)
Hand wash stations and hand sanitizer will continue to be available throughout the day for students and staff.
Students will need to continue to minimize the number of individuals using a restroom at the same time (limited to one less person than there are restroom stalls). Students must observe social distancing, always wear a mask, wash and/or sanitize hands prior to entering the restroom and after restroom use.
A “Grab-and-Go snack” will continue to be provided for all in-person students during morning break (9:00 - 9:15) for the day they are on campus. All school provided meals are free to all children,18 and under, through the remainder of this school year.
